Birdy’s opened up in august 2026 as a walk-in shop looking to fill a gap in the market for a high quality and consistent shop where you could just walk in.

With most shops in the area focusing strictly on appointments, it’s become hard for clients to find a high-quality cut without a long wait or booking weeks in advance. We wanted to build a shop where you can walk in and trust the standard of service from any barber in the building. Founded by two long-term Wilmington barbers, Birdy's was created to fill a need in our community—building an environment where both our barbers and our clients can thrive.

Located in the Cargo District, your wait time doesn't have to be wasted time. You can join our waitlist in the shop, online, or through our app, leaving you free to come and go as you please. With plenty of shopping and restaurants within walking distance, you can grab a coffee or a bite to eat until you're up next in the chair.
